The Signal announces itself before the ÉV is read. The white collar is visible from across a room. The double piping is visible from further than that. This is the one piece in the collection that does not wait to be noticed.

Fabric Cotton-blend jersey. 240g/m². The lightest fabric in the collection — deliberately. The Signal is the warm-weather piece, the Mediterranean piece, the terrace piece. The blend gives the obsidian ground a clean, composed surface that holds the contrast of the white collar and piping without bleeding or migration. The white stays white. The obsidian stays absolute.

Construction Short sleeve with regular sleeve opening — not dropped, not oversized. The Signal sits differently on the body than the rest of the collection. Where everything else drops and drapes, this piece sits. The white contrast collar is a full spread collar — structured enough to hold its shape without stiffening, open enough to sit correctly with the top button left undone, which is the only way it should be worn. Double white contrast piping runs from the collar junction over both shoulders and down the full length of both sleeves to the hem — two parallel lines of 100% polyester contrast fabric that hold their precision through wear and washing. Hidden button placket at centre front. ÉV monogram at the right chest — in the space between the placket and the piping, exactly where the eye goes.

Graphic ÉV monogram at right chest in bone. The placement is specific to the construction of this garment — the collar frames above it, the piping frames beside it, the placket frames between it and the centre. No other piece in the collection has a graphic with this much architecture around it. The monogram does not need to be large. Everything surrounding it does the work. Edition number on interior hem.

Care Machine wash 30°C gentle cycle. No bleach. No tumble dry. Press at low heat on reverse side only — never on the contrast collar, never on the piping, never on the print. The contrast fabric responds differently to heat than the main body. The integrity of the white lines and white collar against obsidian is the entire visual proposition of this piece. Protect it with the same consideration you would give the garment itself.

Edition The Signal exists in obsidian only. The contrast is between the white construction details and the dark ground — the tension between them is the piece. A bone colourway would remove everything that makes it what it is. Numbered on the interior hem. When the edition closes, this specific geometry — the collar, the double piping, the monogram placement — does not return. No restock. No exceptions.
